Jennifer Ludwig, B.Sc.(Pharm)
Jennifer joined Super Thrifty as a relief pharmacist upon her graduation from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Pharmacy in 2005. In 2006, she completed specialized training in compound- ing at the Professional Compounding Centres of America (PCCA) in Houston, TX. Since that time, Jennifer has attended various conferences to increase her knowledge with regards to pain management, hormone replacement therapy and veterinary medicine. Currently her focus remains on pain management and veterinary compounding. Her interest in veterinary medicine became even more apparent with the addition of her very first puppy, Bogey Maverick Ludwig and she became certified in veterinary compounding in December 2010. Jennifer is also an owner and manager of Super Thrifty Pharmacy and enjoys the diversity of problem solving as both an owner and compounding pharmacist.
Aimee Hetherington, B.Sc.(Pharm)
Aimee started working with Super Thrifty as a front-store cashier in 2010. Since then she has completed pharmacy school, graduating from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Pharmacy in 2015. She now works as a full-time pharmacist, specializing in compounding at Richmond Super Thrifty. She completed the C3 Comprehensive Compounding Course at the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in London, ON in November 2015. She enjoys flavouring and the unique challenges of compounding. Most importantly, Aimee enjoys the patient satisfaction and individualized patient-specific care that compounding provides.
Jasmine Duthie, B.Sc.(Pharm)
Jasmine graduated from the University of Manitoba College of Pharmacy in 2016. After completing her internship with Super Thrifty Pharmacy, Jasmine accepted a full time postition as a pharmacist. She completed the C3 Comprehensive Compounding Course at the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in London, ON in September 2016. Jasmine enjoys the specialization of compounding, particularly witnessing the benefits of indivdualized patient care. She looks forward to learning something every day through the challenges of compounding.
Anne Hay, Compounding Assistant
Anne has been a dedicated Super Thrifty employee since 1984. The knowledge she has gained from her extensive experience as head pharmacy technician has made her an indispensable member of the staff. In 2006, she received specialty training in customized compounding at the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in Houston, TX. Since that time, she has participated in many continuing education seminars, focusing on pediatric flavouring and veterinary compounding. Along with inventory control and ordering, Anne performs a myriad of jobs that allow the pharmacy to run smoothly. Anne enjoys new challenges every day and most of all enjoys helping her customers.
Adrienne Lee, Compounding Assistant
Adrienne achieved her Pharmacy Technician certificate of training in 2005 from the Winnipeg Technical College. She has been a member of the Super Thrifty family since 2008. Adrienne started working at Medical Centre Pharmacy as well as doing relief work at other locations, then moved to Super Thrifty Pharmacy full-time a year later. Adrienne was trained in compounding in 2011 and since then, has attended a veterinary compounding seminar to increase her knowledge base in that area. Adrienne enjoys the satisfaction of helping patients through custom compounding.
Jenny Rideout, Compounding Assistant
Jenny achieved her Pharmacy Technician certificate in Brandon, Mb at Robertson College in 2006. She joined our Super Thrifty team in 2012 by accepting a one year term position with Sakku Drugs in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. While in Nunavut she enjoyed many outdoor activities and along with other musicians sang at many local events and community fundraisers. Once her term in Nunavut came to a close she transferred to Brandon, Mb to work between both Rivers and Brandon Super Thrifty Pharmacy. Jenny showed a growing interest in compounding and began training in 2014 which resulted in her becoming a full time compounding assistant with Richmond Super Thrifty. She enjoys the unique concept of compounding required to help with specific patient needs.
