Super Thrifty Drugs Canada Ltd. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our head office team. This position can be either part-time (approximately 40-50 hours bi-weekly) or full-time (Monday-Friday) mixed with some accounting duties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The payroll administrator is responsible for full cycle payroll functions related to the collecting, verifying and processing of bi-weekly payroll for 200 plus employees
Work as part of a team to assist the accounting department
Requirements and Qualifications:
Proficiency in using spreadsheets and payroll software programs with a background in accounting and data entry
Experience with payroll with a knowledge and background in labour law a strong asset
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
Well organized and able to maintain a clean filing system with strong time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
